Catherine's little personality

Enough said.

Christmas 2007

Thanksgiving and Christmas were spent hanging out with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Catherine had a lot of fun at Christmas, and got more presents and toys than we know what to do with.

First haircut

Catherine received her first official haircut right before Thanksgiving. She did really well, as long as that passy stayed in her mouth. :)

Finally! Garner Updates!

I know, I know. It has been forever since we have updated our family blog. I've been trying to get Joe to show me how to do this for months now. He still hasn't shown me, so I'm figuring this out on my own. I hope I didn't goof anything up. :)

Well, since our last post, a lot has changed. Most of all being Catherine. She is growing so fast and looks so different than the last pictures posted (you'll see in the pics I soon post). She is tall for her age (like her daddy), and her hair is getting so long. I try to put in pig tails to keep it out of her face, but she doesn't always sit still so I can. Her favorite activities include eating, reading her little books, listening to music and dancing to music, taking baths, and giving hugs and kisses. Her least favorite things are getting dressed and taking naps. Our latest challenge is trying to get her used to not having her passy all the time. We've been only giving it to her for naps and bedtime, and she knows that it is missing most of the day.

As for Joe and myself, the biggest change is that I'm no longer working. I have been staying home with Catherine for a week now, and she and I are both adjusting to the changes that come with that. Joe and I are excited about this change, and I am enjoying the extra time with Catherine. Joe continues to work away at his job and his schoolwork. He has a loaded semester school-wise and is therefore spending a lot of his time in the library.

We are thankful for God's blessings, most of all being the great little family he has given us. Continue to watch for updated postings. Our hope is to keep this updated better so our family and friends can know what's new with us.
